Biodiversity Conservation Policy

As Viento Alaçatı, we consider the protection of the natural environment and local ecosystems in which we operate as one of our primary responsibilities. In line with our sustainable tourism approach, we adopt and implement the following principles for the conservation of biodiversity:

1. Protection of Local Flora and Fauna: We take care to protect local plant and animal species within and around the hotel premises. In our garden landscaping, we prefer local and endemic plant species and avoid the use of invasive species.
2. Respect for Natural Areas: We act with care regarding natural conservation areas, wetlands and sensitive ecosystems in our immediate surroundings, and avoid any activity that may harm these areas.
3. Training and Awareness: We organize training and information activities to raise awareness among our guests and employees about the importance of biodiversity.
4. Waste Management: We minimize the generation of waste that may harm nature and effectively implement recycling and waste separation processes.
5. Sustainable Supply Chain: We reduce negative impacts on biodiversity by preferring local, sustainable and environmentally friendly resources in the supply of products and services.
6. Local Collaborations: We support projects aimed at conserving biodiversity in cooperation with local authorities, NGOs and environmental protection organizations.
7. Continuous Improvement: We regularly review our biodiversity conservation policy, monitor our environmental impacts and implement continuous improvement processes to enhance our performance.
